This historic unearthed heirloom variety was sent to Tomato Revolution by Craig LeHoullier author of the popular EPIC TOMATOES book.
Seed was sent to Craig by Parker Smith who was given seed by Donnie Fulks of Tullahoma. Donnie's ancestors brought the seed with them from Germany to South Carolina many years ago.
The flavour is intense and complex and the centre is juicy and dense.
