Dwarf, 6ft plants, regular leaf, mid to late season, oblate orange brick colour with 6oz to 1LB 4oz fruits.
Uluru is the aboriginal name for Ayers Rock and the colour of this tomato resembles the orange and black tones of the rock itself.
Uniquely coloured tomatoes that are essentially the first black/orange tomato we have ever seen - orange flesh with green overtones and somewhat amber/orange/green in appearance.
It is absolutely delicious with a rich smokey flavour.
Uluru Ochre originated from a cross between Orange Heirloom and our favourite Rosella Purple by Patrina Nuske Small in Australia.
Released in 2015
Minimum 20 seeds
Growers footnote 2021 - This variety continues to please us very much. The flavour is smoky and complex. Fruit shape and size is variable but that does not matter. The colour is unique. This tomato is consistently flavourful and quirky.
